Kids Hairstyles For Girls Biography
My Marley Mae Apple is 6 years old now. She is sharp, bossy, imaginative, creative, and thoughtful. She wants to be an evolutionary biologist when when grows up, but also a restauranteur owner and hair dresser and an orphanage director and mother of 15. I think she would do great at any of those things, but I keep stressin to her that you have to be a really good listener to be a hairstylist.
Anyhow, she has been experimenting with hairstyling on herself a lot lately. I let her use my hair kit because she is finally old enough to return things to where she got them and keep things semi-organized. 6 is a magical age. Here are her recent hair creations.Mars is growing out her hair. Her white blonde, spider-webby hair. I don’t argue with her, but I occasionally insist on trimming her up. Recently, she needed a good shaping. Here is how I did it.
Without taking length off, I reshaped her hair using 2 simple ponytails .It turned out swingy, sophisticated, and perfecto.
First ponytail was all the hair, brushed tightly and secured in the middle of the crown of the head. I combed the pony straight out to 90degrees and cut 3 inches off the ends.
Next pony was the whole front section of the hair from behind each ear across the top of the head. I secured a tight ponytail exactly where her horn would be if she was a unicorn ( which she basically is) and held the ponytail straight out at 90degrees from the head and cut 2 inches off the ends. BOOM!

Hey guys. I’m excited to announce my partnership with a cool new beauty app called Pretty in my Pocket (PRIMP!) that is dedicated to sharing quality beauty knowledge and advice from beauty experts around the world. PRIMP is about connecting consumers with beauty products and tricks that are right for their hair, skin, and lifestyles.
Now, you all know that I am a dedicated ‘Free woman” (I ShamPHREE!) and use only natural raw remedies in my hair routine. What you may not know is that although I do not use conventional hair products on my own hair, I have worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years and have had a lot of experience with beauty products. Enough to have a strong voice on the ones I like and have used on myself as well as on clients in the salon!
In my PRIMP profile, you will find my ‘beauty bag’ filled with product and tool recommendations and reviews for those of you in the market for some new products. So far, I have only reviewed products that I personally like and use on my hair clients in the salon. I give them all a 5 star rating, because I only review the ones that I really like.
Also on my profile you will find many hair looks and tutorials straight from the HTHG blog. So, that said, check out this great app and please share it with your friends!
